Fresh faces along with students past and present filled the corridors of our 200 year old school on Saturday 4th March for yet another successful Open Day.
Our annual Open Day offers interested parents and prospective pupils aged between 2-18 the chance to take in our school’s beautiful rural campus and modern classroom facilities and to meet students past and present, as well as staff and governors.
Tom Brooksby, Headmaster at Ockbrook School, said: “Our Open Day is always a well-attended event, offering prospective families the chance to witness first hand everything our wonderful school has to offer. Our students excel academically and we’re extremely proud to remain one of the highest achieving schools in the region.
“On the day, our students assume centre stage, taking great pride in showing parents and prospective pupils around the school and getting involved with interactive activities across all subjects. Our Young Enterprise team, Fruition, was back by popular request selling their products, including mason jars and flavoured fudge. It has also become a common trend that Mr Gupta’s Science experiments are always a crowd pleaser!
“I’d personally like to thank every single student and member of staff who contributed towards yet another successful day!”
