Huge congratulations to Adam Juffs, 17, for securing your entry to the Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT).
SSDT is a Motorcycle Trial with a difference. Competitors complete up to 100 miles each day over six consecutive days from 6-11 May 2019 through the Highlands of Scotland. Each daily route challenges the ability, experience, strength and stamina of each rider.
Adam said: “I’m delighted to secure my entry at the Scottish Six Days Trial. This event is the pinnacle of the motorcycle trials calendar, both in prestige and sporting history. It has taken place since the early 1900s and the current form of the event has been ridden by many famous riders from the world of trials. I’m really looking forward to the challenge!”
Tom Brooksby, Ockbrook School Headmaster, added: “Congratulations, Adam! Securing a place in such a historic event is an achievement in itself. On behalf of everyone at Ockbrook School, we wish you the best of luck!”
The Scottish Six Days Trial is mainly focused on the Lochaber area of Scotland and is centred in the small highland town of Fort William. The event is managed by the Edinburgh & District Motor Club, a small group of enthusiasts who have run the trial since 1911.
