The primary department offers a wide range of clubs and extra-curricular activities.

Pupils can choose from an extensive list of free extra-curricular activities including: Cross Country Running, Netball, Gardening Club, Table Tennis, Crafts, Cricket, Lego Club, Street Dance, Typing, Athletics, Coding, Badminton and Choir. There are a new set of clubs and activities each term and parents can sign-up through an online form.

Primary pupils compete in a large number of sporting fixtures and events each year and every pupil in Y3-6 is able to represent their school competitively, should they wish to do so.

In addition to these free clubs, there are a number of paid activities which can also be accessed including: Derby Football Coaching, Archery, Golf, Gymnastics, LAMDA (Speech & Drama) and Individual music tuition in Piano, Harp, Flute, Guitar, Woodwind, Drums and Voice. The school enters pupils for ABRSM and LAMDA exams and these take place on site.
