We are once again opening our doors and grounds to local parents and children for our whole school open day on Saturday 5th March between 10:00-13:00.
Our open day is a chance for interested parents and prospective pupils aged between 2-18 to take in the school’s beautiful rural campus and modern classroom facilities and to meet students past and present, as well as staff and governors.
Tom Brooksby, Headmaster, says: “This is a great opportunity to get to know our wonderful school and all it that it has to offer. Our students excel academically, with consistently high achievement rates in A Levels and GCSEs. Our sports teams compete across a wide range of sports – from football and cricket to netball and badminton – and we offer a fantastic selection of extracurricular activities so there’s something to suit everyone.
“Everyone at Ockbrook School gets involved in our open days. We let our students take centre stage, showing people around the school and taking part in demonstrations. We also encourage our visitors to get involved in our interactive activities, which are designed for our youngest visitors right through to our more senior guests.”
The open day is also an opportunity for past students who are members of Ockbrook School’s Leaver Association (OSLA) to take a look around the school’s beautiful campus and take part in a variety of activities, from trying out new sports to science problem solving.
