Abseiling, fencing, archery, zip wire and problem solving were just some of the exciting activities our Year 7 students participated in as part of a teaming building weekend away to France.
We stayed at Château du Broutel situated on the edge of the small historical town of Rue. The jam-packed itinerary of first-class activities provided students with an opportunity to build lasting friendships and get to know our teaching staff.
Mrs Faulkner is Head of Key Stage 3 and organised the recent school trip. She says: “We had a fantastic time getting acquainted with the new cohort of Year 7 students outside of a classroom environment. They are a group of really creative and adventurous young people. It was great to watch them develop friendships and learn new skills which will aid them through the academic year.”
